In this period, we’re working on Confindustria Bergamo new headquarters, along the A4 highway. TENSA is supervising the assembly of all the post tensioned slabs with monostrand bonded system, supplying all the material and devices for the installation of tendons.

Last week, Delhi's new Signature Bridge has been opened to traffic! The 675-metre Signature Bridge is an eight-lane carriageway that will reduce the travel time between north and northeast Delhi, connecting the Outer Ring Road on the western bank of the Yamuna river with Wazirabad Road on the eastern side. The bridge will also serve as a tourist destination, with the 154-metre-high glass box offering a bird's eye view of the city. The project required 780 t of stay cables, with 38 cables with up to127 strand, supplied by TENSA

In India, we’re working to build a huge and iconic project: the Signature Bridge over the Yamuna River in New-Delhi, Wazirabad. At the end of the works, the pylon structure will have a height of 165 m, and the bridge will feature a total length of 675 m, with a main span of 251 m. We are extremely proud to announce that TENSA PT system is the first officially approved by Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) under the new 2017 Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction. Tensa America 19AMTS bonded PT system is the first officially introduced on January 24th 2018 in the “Approved Post-Tensioning System Vendor List” released by FDOT Structures Design Office. Congratulations to the Technical Department working group who put together a huge effort to deal with a long testing and approval process that is not yet over!

📣Successful completion of fatigue and tensile test and fatigue and leak test over Tensa 4 strands hanger system for Pensacola Bay Bridge project! 🇺🇸🛣 Tensa has brilliantly completed the testing program for assessment of the 4 strands hanger system for the Pensacola Bay Bridge project in Florida (USA). Fatigue + tensile test and fatigue + leak test in accordance with PTI DC45.1-12 recommendations have been positively completed in the Structural Engineering Laboratory (GIMED) of the Politecnico of Milan (Italy). Tests have been required to assess the performance of the system that will be installed in the Pensacola Bay Bridge project, located in Pensacola, Florida, under the FDOT Authority. Cables for this project are designed to use galvanized, waxed and hdpe coated strand: this will be a new feature for US bridges and has been specifically requested by FDOT. Tensa America will be responsible for the supply and installation of the system in middle 2018.

Successful completion of fatigue and tensile test over 127 strands Tensa stay cable system 🎯 We have positively completed a fatigue and tensile test according to FIB bulletin 30 Recommendations over a 127TSR stay cable system in the CTL laboratory of Chicago. Such brilliant result extends TENSA range of stay cables tested sizes, reaching the capacity of more than 35 MN.
